AUGMENT SCORES THOMPSON ACHIEVEMENT RAILWAY TO KENTUCKY (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Thursday Th* Wellington Racing Club's autumn meeting opened at Trentftam to-day in wet weather. There was a Tair attendance and the going was heavy. A feature of the Trial Plate was the fact that the three placed hordes, Ever England, wild Fox and Phyto, uere all* sired by the Waikato sire, Foxhrldge, the winner, incidentally making his first appearance in company.
