Ltd, report on their usual weekly stock sale held at Frankton yesterday, as rollows: sheep.—A medium yarding- of grown sheep and a full entry of fat lambs was penned. The quality of the yarding- was not up to la-1 week, and only prime wethers, wnich sold a little easier, were in demand. Fat cwe> sold at llrm rates, also f3f lambs. Medium prime wethers £1 Ss to £1 4s Od; light and unfinished. £1 is to £1 2s 9d; good quality Tat ewes 13s to 14s Od; heavy rat ewes 10s to 12*: heavy rat lamn.-, £ J 5s to £1 »s; medium do. £ t 2s 3d to £1 4s 3d; light and unfinished. 1?s fid to £1 Is. Cattle.—a medium yarding of all classes or cattle met with slightly better competition fnan last week. Boners were again In keen demand. Farmers’’ Auctioneering Company The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, .report: Sheep: A small entry ->f lat sheep came forward Bidding was steady with values lor we mere slightly easier, fat ewes rernaUiing firm at late rates, iat lambs, winch were penned in larger numbers than usual, sold freely at unchanged values. Cattle: A small entry of ox beef met a firm dean and at rates on a par with other centres, Whilst an average yarding of cow and heifer beef advanced on late rates. Pigs: A heavy yarding of rat pig*, and au average penning of stores and weaners, came forward. The demand, although firm, was not as keen as at recent saies, and prime topwelgfit baconers receded to £4 14s.
