REPORTED MISSING

DOMINION NAVAL MAN (By Telegraph.—Press Association) AUCKLAND, Tuesday Advice that her son-in-law, Chief Petty Officer (second class) Harry Guy, is reported missing, has been received by Mrs S. A. Griffith, of Queen Street, Otahuhu. He had been serving on the submarine Triad, which the Admiralty has reported overdue and considered lost. Having served several years on the New Zealand station as second engineer, E.R.A., in H.M.S. Leith. Chief Petty Officer Guy was well known in Auckland. He was married to Miss Evelyn Griffith, of Otahunu. in 1938. He left for England ten months later, and on arrival was transferred to the submarine service. He joined the Navy in 1933.
