BUTTER DISTRIBUTION MINISTER IN HAMILTON Paying his first official visit to the Waikato as Minister of Agriculture and Marketing, the Hon. J. G. Barclay held discussions in Hamilton yesterday with the Auckland Cooperative Dairy Committee and other distributors of butter in Auckland city. The Minister said that the Internal Marketing Department was very anxious for an improvement in the retail trade in Auckland city and it was with the view of effecting this improvement that the discussions had been held. The discussions, which were of a preliminary nature, had been very satisfactory, said the Minister. A good spirit had been shown and co-operation had been promised. The response altogether had been splendid.
