LOCAL BODY POLLS 'bar UNLESS CHANGE IN WAR (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Monday “Unless unforeseen circumstances in the international field arise, the local body elections will be held this year,” said the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. W. E. Parry, in an interview today. “No man can say when the international situation will take a serious change,” the Minister added. “If the change takes place, neither local elections nor anything else will matj ter.”
