EARLY MORNING FIRE CBy Tclcgrapn.—Press Association) GISBORNE, Monday Fire early yesterday morning completely destroyed a large store owned by tl>e Waiapu Farmers’ Co-opera-tive Trading Company, at Tikitiki. The building and contents were insured with the South British Company for £3,305 and Mr D. Fitzgerald, a saddler occupying a shop in the building, had a cover of £4lO in the same office. Nothing was saved from the building, the flames, having a good hold when discovered at 1.15 a.m.
