The carnival, winch had not been held for three years, was this year re-establislied ou a championship basis, Hie nope of the association being to establish championship swimming among the schools, on lines similar to the system oi the parent body, tne s*outh Auckland centre. Valuable assistance was given by orlct&ls of the centre and the hundreds of youthful spectators were treated to a large programme of events, the organisation or which was a credit to the association.
