HAPPY FUNCTION
DANCE AT NEWSTEAD An ejoyable dance was held in the Newstead Hall recently where modern and old-time dancing was enjoyed to music supplied by Clayton’s Orchestra. Among those present were:—Mesdames Farrow, gold georgette; Taylor, navy crepe; Scott, green satin. Misses N. Adamson (Hamilton), blue taffeta; E. Sowain, mauve taffeta; N. Evetts, silver lame white net over taffeta; Thelma Hogan, cyclamen taffeta; Ruth Hogan, green satin; Hazel Todd, gold taffeta; Ailsa Woolven, ivory chiffon; Una Townsend (Eureka), clover taffeta; Pat McKendry, navy and white crepe; Kath Taylor, clover net; Olive Hogan, :-herry taffeta; Ruby Weir, ivory satin; Dawn Milne, love in the mist lace; Ina Thomas, saxe blue taffeta; V. Westwood (Hamilton), mist blue .hiffon; B. Kelly (Hamilton), silver ame; P. McLaughlan, nightingale ?reen taffeta; H. Roper, fuchsia pink natalasse.
