The jumping off the line of a timber-laden L A waggon was apparently the origin of the trouble. Soon after the derailment workmen were engaged unloading timber from the derailed trucks so that they could be removed. Work is proceeding tonight and it is hoped to have the line cleared before mid-day to-morrow. Meanwhile buses are maintaining a passenger service from Greymouth to Karoro.
