JUMP FROM TRAIN PRISONERS SENTENCED (By Telegraph.—Press Association) AUCKLAND, Friday The two prisoners, ErneSt Arthur Tremere Johnstone and Stanley Clive Bernasconi, who jumped from the limited express near Taumarunui yesterday morning, appcaxcd handcuffed before the magistrate, Mr F. H. Levien, this morning. They pleaded guilty to escaping, Johnstone being sentenced to six months’ imprisonment and Bernasconi to three months.
