Autumn Handicap, compared with that in the Flemington Handicap. They disqualilled the trainer, J. W. McCurley, the jockey, J. Coutts, and the horse for 12 months for alleged dishonourable action and Improper practices in connection with the Flemington Handicap. The owners, Messrs F. W. Hughes and E. A. Goughian, were exonerated. Da/shing Cavalier is now ineligible to start in the Australian Cup. MeCurley has one or the largest teams in training in Australia. Telergy, who was injured during the running of the Autumn Handicap, is to be spelled. S. Ralph will ride Ilathersage in the Australian Cup. Ajax is to be offered for sale_to-morrow.
