OBITUARY
MR CHARLES VAGG The death occurred recently in Hamilton of Mr Charles Vagg in his 66th year. He was born in Christchurch. being the eldest son of the late William Vagg, caretaker of Christ’s College. Mr Vagg attended the Normal School in Christchurch, and when quite a young man he came to the North Island and was one of the first managers of the creameries operated by the New Zealand Farmers’ Dairy Union in the Manawatu district. After 10 years working in that capacity, and also training other men for the same work, he engaged in farming, which he did successfully for 20 years in the Bay of Plenty and Hauraki Plains, finally coming to Cambridge eight years ago until his removal last year. He was associated for many years with the church known as the Brethren. He is survived by his wife and a grown-up family. Mrs Ray Harris (Waharoa), Mrs R. Harvey (Te Awamutu), Mrs G.
