PLUMBERS’ PICNIC

SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION HELD RESULTS OF SPORTS A successful seaside picnic organised by the plumbers of Hamilton was held at Raglan recently. Thanks to the efforts of an energetic committee and the generosity of various firms -the picnic, which was the first of its kind held in the district for many years, was an unprecedented success. Trophies and prizes won in events held during the afternoon were presented by Mr D. A. Sellar, who thanked Mr and Mrs H. Webster for the untiring work they had done to make the outing a success.
