PERSONAL
The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser, left Auckland for Wellington yesterday afternoon.
Mr C. A. Barrell, M.P. for Hamilton, who attended a meeting of the Auckland Harbour Board yesterday, left for Wellington last night.
Messrs C. H. Grounsell (Wellington), W. Giles (Auckla-nd), and R. Lewis (Papakura), are at the Hamilton Hotel.
Mr J. G. Smith, of Cambridge, is shortly to join the Temporary Staff c-f the New Zealand Defence Department. with the rank of sergeant.
Flight-Lieutenant G. R Magi 11, D.F.C.. formerly of Hamilton, has been promoted to the rank of squad-ron-leader. He is stationed in North Africa.
