FUNERAL MASS IN ROME NOTABLE PEOPLE PRESENT (United press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyriglit) (Received March 4, 3.15 p.m.) ROME, March 3 In the presence of ex-Queen Ena of Spain, the King and Queen of Italy and other notable people, the coffin containing the body of exKing Alfonso, covered with the Spanish flag, lay in the Church of Saint Mary of the Angels for a solemn funeral mass, after which it was placed in a niche near the tomb of Spanish Popes in the Church of Saint Mary at Montserrat until the burial in Spain. General Franco attended a memorial service in the church at Madrid where Alfonso was married. Flags in London were flown at hall-mast.
