AIRCRAFT COLLIDE ONE OF PILOTS KILLED PALMERSTON N.. Tuesday While formation flying this morning, two Air Force planes collided, causing a forced landing to both. Leading-Aircraftsman Evan Roy Archer was killed but LeadingAircraftsman Thomas Gordon Griffiths, the pilot of the second machine was not injured.
