FIRM SALE
BEEF IN REQUEST MARKET AT FRANKTON Beef of all descriptions was in keen request at the Frankton stock sale today and very firm values were obtained. In some cases prices tended a shade higher. The yarding was a full, average one and the standard of quality compared well with previous weeks. Calves and boner cattle also sold readily. Over the early sales fat sheep were not quite as keenly sought as last week. The yarding was an average one with fair quality sorts on offer. In the pig section, which was heavily supplied, bidding was less brisk and all classes suffered a slight reverse.
