GERMAN VICE CONSUL ESPIONAGE IN U.S.A. DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS i ( (United Press Asn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Oct. 19, 3.15 p.m.) NEW YORK, Oct. 18 The New York Post declares that the German Vice-Consul Herr Friedhelm Draeger, has been revealed as the director of Nazi propaganda, espionage and sabotage throughout the United States through the testimony of Dr. Friedrich Auhagen. a former professor at the Columbia University, who was arrested in Los Angeles in September as he was about to leave for Japan. It adds that Herr Draeger is also deeply involved. by documentary evidence in the possession of the Department of State and Justice and Senator Dies’ Committee as a result of the raids on the German tourist information office on August 23. the Transocean News on August 28 and the Library Information Service in New York.
