Describing the rescue the captain said: “It was still dark when we saw a tiny light about ten miles away. We flew over to inspect it and found that the lifeboat occupants had heard the sound of our engines and had flashed a lamp to attract attention. I flew' around awaiting for daylight hoping it would be possible to make a landing. Best Meal Ever “The weather was good and there was only a slight swell. After an hour there was enough light to see by and we came down on the water without difficulty. We brought the men on board and took off again very easily cfesoite the extra load.”
The lifeboat was found nearly 200 miles from the nearest land and the men had been in her for 3i days.
