POSTINGS TO MEN OF FORCES (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Friday In the course of an address to the Londoners’ League last night Mr G. A. Hayden, secretary to the National Patriotic Fund Board, said figures made available by the postal department showed that during September alone the postings of letters, newspapers and parcels to members of the New Zealand Forces aggregated 65 tons. A total of 3490 lb of letter mail was handled and 48,730 lb of newspapers. There were 22,545 separate parcels, totalling 94,478 lb, all sent privately by relatives and friends to individual addresses.
