MAN’S FALL FROM WHARF I (By Telegraph. — press As-snriatlon) GREYMOUTH, Wednesday A man seen by two whitebait gatherers to fall into the Grey River from the lower berth at the wharves about 5.45 this evening is believed to have been drowned. A search in the vicinity until after dark was fruitless. Dragging will be resumed in the morning. A cap found en the wharf was identified as belonging to Mr John Gamble, aged 44. labourer.
