Large Tree Stolen A flowering Japanese cherry tree several years old and nearly 6ft high has been stolen from a Stratford garden. At the time of the theft the owners of the property were out for the evening. They did not notice the loss on their return, but could scarcely believe their eyes when they arose the following morning and found but a hole in the ground where the night before there had been a tree. A trail of earth indicated that the tree had been hastily carried off.
