AIR AND NAVAL BASES
OFFER TO UNITED STATES BRAZIL AND CHILE (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright; LONDON, Oct. 14 Brazil and Chile have offered to lease air and naval bases to the United States of America, according to the New York Times. The view is held in London that the move may be a return by the countries concerned for America’s offer to the other Americas of the use of the air and naval bases she has leased from Britain.
