OKOROIRE CLUB (Special to Times) OKOROIRE. Monday The official opening of the Okoroire Tennis Club's courts took place recently, when there was an attendi-m-e of about pat. Tiran and Te Poi clubs. A Vank'-e tournament was won bv Miss Andrea peiersen and Mr T. Maeken. The president. Mr Harwood, declared the courts open and Miss V. Gubb played the fir-t ball. The president of the Waikato East T.-nnis Association. Mr T. Maeken, Tirau Golf Championships The finals of the Tirau Golf Club’s champiomhip competition were e"tic|uded ,'wr the week-end with the following results:— 11. Johns beat k. Small. 1 up; J.
