KILLED INSTANTLY
YOUTH STRUCK BY TRAIN (By Telegraph.—Special to Times) CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday Derek Christopher Barker. aged 19. an accountancy clerk in the employ of J. W. K. Lawrence and Company. was killed instantly when he was struck by the Parnassus express at Papanui. He was a son of Mr and Mrs E. C. Barker, 69 Windermere road.
