Oct. 13 Nine people were killed and over 50 injured in the London train smash. Air raid workers helped the railway staffs when an express was derailed after hitting a luggage barrow (not a barrel, as stated in a previous message), which ran down the platform ramp and fell on the track, where the engine collided with it and overturned. The driver and fireman were killed.
