RUN OVER BY TRAIN
HOME DEFENCE GUARD (By Telegraph.—Pres* Association) PALMERSTON N., Sunday A resident of Shannon, Mr Edward George Wood, aged 52, who was employed by the defence authorities as a home guard, was found dead shortly before noon today near the Linton railway station. He had been run over by a Mr Wood leaves a wife and two daughters.
