Mrs O. R. Farrer, Hamilton, is spending a holiday in Gisborne. Mrs C. B. Plummer, Auckland, is visiting her daughter, Mrs Hubert Hammond, Hamilton. Mrs W. Tudhope, Hamilton, accompanied by Miss Shirley Tudhope, is spending a week at Rotorua. Mrs Brian Hilton, Hamilton, is on a visit to Auckland.

Mrs H. Abbey, Singapore, was a recent visitor to Hamilton.

Mrs Linden Chitty, Hamilton, is spending the week-end in Auckland.

Mrs J. Ewart, Tauranga. arrives during the week-end to visit her daughter, Mrs E. N. Valentine, Hamilton.

Mrs T. G. Simons. Hamilton, has returned from a holiday spent at Tauranga and Rotorua.

Mrs F. H. Clapham has returned to Hamilton from a holiday spent at Raglan.

Mrs G. E. A. Wilkes. Hamilton, returned today from a holiday at Athenree.

Mrs O. Heerdegen, who has been visiting Koromatua as the guest of Mrs F. J. Barrett, has returned to her home in Claudelands.

Mrs H. Radford. Hamilton, has returned from a holiday at Athenree.

Mesdames R. R. V. Challiner, A. Gibbons. A. Miller. F. Course. R. Hollingcr. Campbell-Board. Montgomery, E. Ziesler and J. Thompson recently attended the celebrations at Waahi Pa in connection with the 7th anniversary of the crowning of King Koroki. They were entertained at afternoon tea by Princess Te Puea.

Miss Millicent Ward, leader of the Health and Beauty movement in New Zealand, was in Hamilton recently to attend a meeting of the Hamilton branch of the movement.

Miss Norma Goodwin, Tirau, who has been on the nursing staff of the Waikato Hospital, has commenced duties at the Matamata Hospital.

Misses C. and M. Radford return to Hamilton this week-end from a holiday in Auckland.

The committee of the Second Frankton Girl Guides held a children's party in St. George’s Hall, Frankton, on Saturday, October 5, there being about 60 children pre-

sent. A most enjoyable time was spent in games, competitions and dancing, interspersed with items by the company. Afternoon tea was I served by the committee. CAMBRIDGE : Miss Moira Henning.
