The Germans have broadcast hreats of severe penalties against Belgians for concealing British subects and also for sabotage, which a secret army of patriots are actively Tarrying on. The German owned “Brusseler Seitung” lists acts of sabotage at Liege, illustrating that the heavy >enalties imposed last month have lot deterred the saboteurs. The lewspaper threatens new communal punishment.

Considerable Damage Done The threats suggest that the well)eing and even lives of the German xoops are endangered. The saboteurs ire admittedly active at Liege and Luxemburg wherfe they destroyed >etrol stores. At Antwerp a rubber factory was damaged and at Brus>els they cut the military cables. The Burgomaster at Waterloo has seen ordered to mobilise all men iged from 18 years to 50 years for guarding the German barracks and nilitary establishments.
