KING ACCEPTS RESIGNATION* (United Presa As?n.—Elec. Tel. Copyrighti LONDON. Oct. 10 The King has accepted the resignation of General Sir Charles Bon-ham-Carter. Governor and Com-mander-in-Chief of Malta. Sir Charles, who was appointed in 1936, came home in May after a serious illness, which is considered too recent for him to undertake an active command without risk, although he has been passed fit for general service.
