Bush Reserve Another bush area in the Bay of Plenty has been reserved by the Government for scenic purposes by proclamation in the Gazette. An area of 465 acres in the Otawa bush, on the Maketu side of the Papamoa Hills is reserved. This is the second large reservation made in this district within the past few months. Next to the bush at McLaren's Falls, in the Kaimais, this is recognised as one of the finest bush areas- left in the Bay of Plenty.
