MOSLEY CELL BOUND
FASCIST LEADER CONFIDENT t (Times Air Mail Service) LONDON, August 15 Sir Oswald Mosley retains his firm confidence in his fortunes even while he waits in internment. lijdeed, Sir Oswald considers that this is no more than a brief halt upon his march to ultimate power. The Fascist leader has frequently proclaimed to his followers that he expected prison before he reached his goal. Indeed, he has confessed that this experience would make the raw material for excellent propaganda. Hitler himself thrived mightily on his spell in a cell. It must be allowed that so far Sir Oswald’s incarceration has been no more severe than the Fuehrer’s confinement in Landsbefg fortress. Human Dynamite Sir Oswald is said to have expressed the view lately that he is now “charging his batteries.’’ This is a favourite association of ideas with him. It was at the Lido many years ago when he was still a Socialist leader that Sir Oswald apprised Mr Randolph Churchill of his dynamic qualities. Standing superb at the prow of a fast motor-boat as it sped past the crowded Lido Sir Oswald cried, “Little do those lounging women on that beach know what a cargo of human dynamite this boat contains. Mr Churchill was flattered by the implication that he himself constituted a small percentage of potential explosion, concludes the F.vening Standard.
