| DISPUTE OVER RENEWAL i PORT FACILITIES ON ISLANDS (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Oct. 1, 11.30 a.m.) SHANGHAI, Sept. 30 The Japanese-dominated Nanking Government has announced that it is not renewing Britain’s ten-years’ lease of port facilities on the Liukwang Islands, near Weihaiwei, which expired on September 30, but Marshal Chiang Kai-shek’s Government ; has announced a renewal for 10 years. The British China Squadrons use the islands for a summer station.
