VICEROY'S OFFER REFUSED DESIRE TO HELP IN WAR <omrlal YV.'reiessi (Received Sept. 30, 3.15 p.m.) RUGBY, Sept. 29 The working committee of the Indian Moslem League adopted a resolution saying it is unable to accept the Viceroy’s present offer, notwithstanding its desire to help in the prosecution of the war. According to a newspaper statement, the Viceroy in August announced an invitation to representative Indians to join the GovernorGeneral’s executive council. It is also stated that Mahatma Gandhi is to have an interview with the Viceroy on Monday.
