CASUALTIES AMONG CIVILIANS NOTIFICATION TO SOLDIERS WHOLE NATION INVOLVED (Omcial Wireless) (Received Sept. 30, 11 a.m.) RUGBY, Sept. 29 Last week there appeared an announcement which brought home in a strangely direct way the fact that whole nations are involved in modem war, and that in the war as waged by Hitler it is often the civilians who are in the front line before soldiers. Special arrangements have been made, it is announced, for notifying immediately to members of His Majesty’s forces casualties among their civilian relatives in air raids.
