DANCE AT OKAUIA
PATRIOTIC SOCIETY FUNCTION A successful dance, held under the auspices of the Okauia Patriotic Society, was recently held in -the Okauia Hall. There was a good attendance, and music was supplied by Mr C. J. Fleming and Mr N. Capper-Starr. Much - appreciated extras were played by Misses E. and N. Garland. Mr F. Garland was an efficient master of ceremonies. A novelty dance was won by Miss S. Kemp and Mr A. Julian. Those present included: Mesdames Tapper, blue striped organza, fur coatee; A. Garland, figured crepe elaine; T. Carter, floral matalasse; V. Booth, brown marocain. Misses E. Garland, tea rose crinkle chiffon; P. Rallison, cerise striped ninon over taffeta; N. Garland, blue embroidered shot taffeta; A. Burr, sea green taffeta; Madge Raethel, Parma violet taffeta; E. Booth, larkspur blue invicta; S. Kemp, flowered craquelle; M. Tuatara, floral pervenche.
