GOLF AT CAMBRIDGE
QUALIFYING ROUND COMPLETED. (Special to Times) CAMBRIDGE, Sunday The second and final quail lying round for the Cambridge Uoii' Club championships was completed on Saturday, and next week match piay will start, scores were steadily good, but lew players were below their handicaps. An outstanding feature was the new amateur course record established by K. C. Ward, of 6 9 gross. He played a consistent round, but failed to qualify top as a result of his 7 9 tbe previous week. The senior field is headed by L. R. Haworth, who is now at the top of his form. His rourtd of 73 on Saturday w f as assisted by an eagle three at the 18th. Haworth and Ward earned byes in the first round !of match play. W. J. Ward played two consistent I rounds to lead the intermediates, being I one stroke better than C. 11. White. In | the juniors, W.
