TENNIS SEASON

CAMBRIDGE CLUB’S YEAR (Special to Times) CAMBRIDGE, Friday. The annual meeting of the Cambridge Tennis Club was held last night, Mr W. -V Robinson presiding over a fair attendance of members. The annual report staled that the standard or play was good and the courts were. In excellent order. The improvements carried out to the surroundings by the Domain Board were greatly appreciated. The men’s championship was won by Mr Drew Clow, and the women’s championship by Mrs L. Macky. The junior events were won by Mr 8. Skeilern and Mrs J. Holmes. ‘Mr and 'Mrs W. N. Robinson won tiie s-wayne Memorial Trophy. A debit balance or approximately £lO was shown on the year’s working, but as the sum or £7O was spent In resurfacing the courts, the position was considered satisfactory.
