CAMBRIDGE TOURNAMENT

HAMILTON RINK’S WEN (Special to Times) GAM BIRJ'DGE. Sunday The Cambridge Bowling Club held a one-day open rinks tournament on Saturday, 2'6 teams taking part. The entry was a representative one with rinks from as far away as Rotorua. Slight showers during the day did not stop plav. Thr greens were in great order for the opening period of a new season. The winners were the Hamilton rink (Forster, Judge, Hawkins, Gale) who went through the live rounds without loss. Two teams tied Tor the runner-up position with one loss. They were P. Stewart’s and ' Buchanan’s Matarnata teams. I Before play started, a welcome was extended to the players by ihe president Mr A. Richardson.
