OBITUARY

CONSTABLE A. KING

(By Telegrapn.—Press Association) TIMARU, Friday

The death occurred suddenly today of Constable A. King, who had been stationed in Timaru for ten years. At one time he was a footman in the service of King George V. He served in the Great War, and was a member of the Metropolitan Police Force, London, for seven years. He is survived by his wife and nine children. One son is in the Army, one in the Navy and one in the Air Force.
