LATEST DEVELOPMENTS GOVERNMENT MAJORITY SAME AS LAST PARLIAMENT (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright SYDNEY, Sept. 26 In the Federal election the latest development is the good progress being made by Government candidates in doubtful seats, where the distribution of preferences is favouring them in most of the 15 doubtful seats. It is now predicted that the Menzies Government will be returned with almost the same majority as in the last Parliament—42 seats to 32 and a very slender majority of about three seats in the* Senate.
