DANES IN BRITAIN
HONOIR KING'S BIRTHDAY MESSAGE FROM ICELAND (omelal Wireless} (Received Sept. 27, 3.15 p.m.) RUGBY, Sept. 26 Today being the birthday of King Christian of Denmark Danes living in Britain fittingly celebrated the occasion in London. The Danish Club was the scene of the biggest meeting when 300 Danes took the opportunity to pay homage to King and country, and listened to speeches by the Danish Ambassador and the club chairman. A special tribute to His Majesty was made by M. Benediktesson, Iceland's Charge d’Affaires, who brought the Country’s greetings and stressed that Iceland has not forgotten her King.
