PARACHUTE LANDING
AN OPPORTUNITY SEIZED (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, Sept. 15 A Squadron-Leader who had destroyed one and probably two Megserschmitts 109’s landed near an English town by parachute with an injured foot. While the wound was being dressed the police put the parachute on show and began collecting for the town’s Spitfire fund.
