TORPEDO-BOAT Sc DESTROYER BOMBARDMENT OF TOBRUK SIDI BARRANI SHELLED (United press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Sept. 27, 11.15 a.m.) ROME, Sept. 26 A communique announces a British submarine sank an Italian tor-pedo-boat and a destroyer in the lonian Sea. The majority of the crew was saved. The British renewed their air bombardment of Tobruk. Some private buildings and a field hospital were damaged. Five people are dead and ten wounded. British naval units shelled Sidi Barrani. Italian planes attacked a convoy in the Red Sea. We bombed the defences of Otrub, in the Sudan.
