(By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Friday A finding that John Edmund Wohlers, aged 33, clerk, took his own life by gas poisoning was returned following an inquest today. Cutters Of Clematis Warned “This has been an early spring. Never have our native flowers been more beautiful, particularly the kowhai,” said Mrs Knox Gilmer, president of the Wellington Horticultural Society, at the opening of the society’s spring show. “Now that the clematis season is at hand, we must protect our own flowers," she added. “If any of you see clematis cutters, 1 want you to take the numbers of their cars and report them to the police, and I hope the lines will not be light.”
