Tramway and bus operatives in the settlement and concessions have already struck, and taxi-drivers are threatening to strike. PROTEST TO BRITAIN ARREST OF JAPANESE (United Press Asn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) TOKIO, Sept. 24 The Foreign Minister summoned the British Ambassador and protested against the arrest of six Japanese at Singapore.
