EXPLOSION IN AMERICA

AT CHEMICAL WORKS TOWN OF CLAIRTON SHAKEN (United Tress Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) CLAIRTON (Penn.), Sept. 25 An explosion which occurred in the Pennsylvania Industrial Chemical Corporation shook the town of Clanton. The plant was engaged in manufacturing solvents for use by the Dupont concern. All available fire-fighters were summoned.

A later message states that six employees were injured. The flames are now under control.
