AIR CASUALTY

AUCKLANDER MISSING (By TelerrspD.—Special to Time.) AUCKLAND, Wednesday Advice has been received by Mrs Martha Laing, Epsom, that her youngest son, acting-Leading Airman Bruce Rennie Laing, is missing on war service. He has been serving with the Fleet Air Arm. ActingLeading Airman Laing was entered in the New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy and trained as a signalman, winning cups by his work when he was in H.M.S. Philomel. He was later drafted to H.M.S. Leander and rose to the rating of leading signalman. Last year he volunteered for transfer to the BTeet Air Arm and left for England in June.
