SCURRY TO SHELTERS
MORE RAIDS ON BERLIN SOME CIVILIAN VICTIMS (United Press Asn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, Sept. 25 An air raid alarm which lasted for 170 minutes sent Berlin citizens scurrying to their shelters. A message from Berlin says high explosive and incendiary bombs were dropped and there were civilian victims. The raiders were apparently fewer than those which attacked Berlin on Monday night. Allegations by Germany The Berlin radio stated: The British again attempted last night the organised murder of Berlin’s civil population. Single planes reached the inner area, bombing densely - inhabited working-class districts and hospitals marked with the Red Cross, the murderous pilots carrying out Mr Churchill’s orders not to hit military objectives. This infamy the Luftwaffe is answering with all the means at its disposal.
