SUBVERSIVE CHARGE (By T^ioa-rapli.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Wednesday William McCready, a taxi driver, elected to be tried by a jury on a charge of having in his possession 50 copies of “The People’s Voice,” with a view to facilitating the publication of a subversive statement. Bail was allowed.
